A great little find for breakfast and lunch near the ski resort, Loveland. We enjoyed breakfast so much we came back here for lunch. Both far exceeded our expectations. We both had the Sportsman breakfast with a sub of French toast. The cinnamon bread is made in house and was thick, tasty and very filling! Delicious! The hash browns and eggs weren’t greasy and cooked perfectly. Everything for breakfast was great! For lunch, I wanted to try the jalapeño cheddar bread and tried that on my Rueben. Again, perfection! The corned beef was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms I added on complimented the sandwich flavor. The jalapeno cheddar bread alone would be worth returning to this restaurant for. This restaurant gets 5 stars from me. The servers were on point too! Go and try it out. You will be raving about their delicious dishes.
This is an amazing place! The food is absolutely amazing. My wife has dreams about the lobster Benedict and the breakfast burrito is amazing. The inside feel is super cozy and the service is top notch. This place is a can't miss breakfast spot in Idaho Springs!
Absolutely a cute amazing little breakfast/brunch spot. We got there at about 11ish no wait seated right away. The server he was amazing. I had the best lobster benedict and the hollandaise sauce was so good.I could have bought it in a bottle and just drank it like that. I will drive an hour and a half just to eat here again.
Great food in downtown Idaho Springs, Colorado!! Very friendly staff, and great atmosphere. Indoor or outdoor seating. Highly recommend.
A friend of a friend, a new friend actually, told us this was the best place in town and that it was the place she frequented most. Although I live quite a ways away, near Boulder, we were visiting and had lunch at this sweet, cozy, home-cooked restaurant. Although we were told the food was really outstanding, we had to eat it to believe it and believe it we do. The bread alone is outrageously, wholesome, healthy and delicious. Each of our dishes were different: two of us had sandwiches and the other two had brunch with eggs. Honestly, with food that amazing and homemade and the service, friendly and warm, I would frequent this place as well if I lived in Idaho Springs.
Decided to stop for some breakfast after going to the nearby hot springs. This was one of the few places open at 9 AM, so we decided to give it a shot. The restaurant was already packed and on a small wait for a table. We got sat within a few minutes of arriving, and Kelly did not miss a single beat. From start to finish, she was absolutely wonderful, timely, and focused. The epitome of "anticipating guest needs." The menu at first glance seems a little pricey for a breakfast menu. However, the portions were generous, so it was justifiable. Our meal was fantastic; the restaurant has fresh bread every day, and the gravy was exceptional. Above all, Kelly's service was very impressive. Her genuine positivity, consistent communication with her tables, and overall attention to detail really took our experience to the next level!
Main Street Restaurant is such a cute and cozy spot! The food was absolutely delicious, and the highlight of my meal was the hash browns—I’ve been searching for hash browns like these for a while, and they did not disappoint! Everything was cooked to perfection, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made the experience even better. Our server, Kelly, was so sweet and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu. Highly recommend!
A small but busy restaurant that had a great server and really good food. It’s a small town ambience and very comfortable. The eggs Benedict were really good with a thick slice of ham. The Benedict Scott was also a nice variation and both were served with super crispy outside hashbrowns, which were also moist inside. The pancakes come in 8 inch baby size or 12 inch hubcap size roughly. You order each one individually. The pineapple pancakes were surprisingly not as interesting as we had hoped. I thought they tasted a bit like biscuit batter and were fine but nothing spectacular. But boy was it big! The spinach mushroom omelette was a little bland also surprisingly. I think we decided that the spinach and mushrooms were slightly watery and undercooked. Ended up having to put salt on it for a little bit more flavor. The side of bacon was perfectly done. And don’t miss the chance to have one of their biscuits which was out of this world. The fresh squeezed orange juice tasted just that way, but had no pulp which surprised me, but all in all we left with full stomachs and enjoyed our meal and the server who had a great personality. Don’t rule this place out
